Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Curling Custard Review

Cantu Shea Butter Curling Custard Review

Hi Curlies! Here is the review on Cantu Curling Custard.

(Retail $5.97 12oz)

I started out with freshly co-washed hair using a leave in conditioner  and sealing with grapeseed oil. The directions on the label stated to use on soaking wet hair, in sections and smooth on each section with fingers from root to tip.I did  just like the directions stated. I started applying  the product to my hair instantly my curls started to pop with excellent definition. The consistency of the this product was thick and slimy(reminds me of Kinky Curly Curling Custard). The smell was very fruity. When my hair was finally dry this product left my hair crispy like the cereal Rice Krispies and HARD AS A BRICK!!!! This product did what it says on the label for as defining my curls ,but the softness wasn’t there at all. I always say what works on your hair may not work on mine ,and what works for me may not work for youJ

  1. I love this product so much, I haven't touched my eco Styler gel since using the cantu curling custard. Yes, it initially gives me a good hold, but to me it's not too crunchy. What little crunchiness there is is gone after about a day. I love how it moisturizes my hair for days...I can rock a wash n go for about a week. Since it's getting so many bad reviews online, I'm going to stock up on it every chance I get because I have a feeling that it may get discontinued.
