1. Weight loss
Did you know that making coconut oil
a regular part of your diet supports your thyroid function can increase your metabolism? It also helps you burn more calories, feel more energized and can
make you feel full longer.
2. To
shave your legs
Conventional shaving cream is an expensive
cocktail of chemicals that you don't need to get a nice clean shave on your legs or
underarms. Coconut oil, on the other hand, is inexpensive, naturally
antimicrobial, and smells divine. Plus, its skin-soothing properties will leave
your legs looking hydrated (but never greasy).
3. To remove make-up
Yes, Coconut oil will remove makeup ! Put
a little on a cotton ball and gently sweep it over your eyes, paying attention
to your under-eyes as well. The oil does a great job breaking down waxy, inky
eye makeup, and leaves the delicate area hydrated, too. Once you're done, wash
your face as usual.
4. As a body moisturizer
In my opinion, coconut oil is the best natural
skin lotion available. I have been using it as my body and face lotion for years
and my skin has never looked better. Not to mention, is smells amazing! Coconut
oil is quickly absorbed and won’t leave your skin feeling greasy. One jar of
coconut oil is my body lotion, face lotion, anti-wrinkle cream, eye-cream,
stretch mark cream and massage lotion.
5.
Hair Care
If you're looking for a deep hair conditioner that's chemical
free, look no further than virgin coconut oil. Coconut oil is one of the best
hair conditioners around and if it's virgin and organic, it's chemical free. While other conditioners work from the outside in, coconut
oil is able to work from the inside out. Massaging the oil into your scalp is powerful too. Coconut
oil is nourishing for your scalp and because the oil is a natural antifungal,
coconut oil can offer relief from dandruff conditions.
Coconut oil is a wonderful thing. Seriously, this stuff is amazing.
